For Benjamin Becker, born Feb 12 2008. 102 bpm, ambient groove deep ethno dub. Composed entirely on a Palm Pilot using the "Bhaji's Loops" application between the hours of 3am and 5am while lying around in bed waiting for Ben to wake up to the dawn.

I just don't think I can bring myself to "draw" a melody using the Palm Pilot pen. :) I suppose I could do a remix of this song where I bring it into Logic Audio and then use a Real Live Keyboard to play some melodies over it, but a part of the fun of this piece was limiting myself to the palm pilot. This is the software I used, BTW. "Bhaji's Loops" at: http://www.chocopoolp.com/bj_index.php Really one of my favorite programs in the whole wide world. In many ways superior in workflow and features to Logic Audio, no kidding! I wish I could plug it into a big monitor, a MIDI keyboard, and have a faster processor than its 312 Mhz ARM processor as that seriously limited the number of audio plugins I could use :)

  Nice soft and deep bass u got here :-) I like also the sense of rhythm, vocals and pads. This track makes nice atmhosphere at night.. Tune's qualified on my harddrive man :-P

  Hi, A new commer, so keen to comment on everything! Seriously, enjoyed it alote, after the 3:00 mark it opened up perfectly, would love that to have happened earlier after 2 mins? To be done only on a palm is amazing work - must have been a long buss ride! It just got better and better - well done. Will load somthing up soon.
